Mailpoet is changing

For those of you that use the plugin MailPoet which is used to generate newsletters it will be going through some major changes in September with a new release at version 3.

The current Mailpoet plugin which is at version 2.x will not go through any further updates after September.

What does this mean for me?

Right now, I don’t know. I am guessing that older systems will continue to work, however it is in your interests to move to the new system. I will migrate a couple of installations I have and report back on what is involved. Hopefully it should be an improvement, but I have seen improvements go backwards rather than forwards in a minority of cases. If I can successfully migrate two of these systems, I will document what is involved and you can manage your own installations.

Please  watch this space in September/ October 2017 for more information.
